Marketing partners

Who our marketing partners are
Home Services Marketplace is a marketplace: we publish home-improvement cost data and connect homeowners with independent home improvement companies. Those companies — the ones we match to a project — are our marketing partners. When you ask to be connected, they are the businesses that may contact you about the project you described.
They are independent businesses. Home Services Marketplace does not employ them, does not perform construction work, and does not act as an agent for either side.
The companies we work with
We do not publish a standing list of partner companies yet. The companies your request may be shared with are named on screen, on the step where you give consent, before you submit anything — that on-screen list is the disclosure that applies to your request, and the names are recorded with your submission.
If no company is named on that screen, there is no partner covering your area and your request is not shared with any company. You still get your cost range.
When we publish a standing list of partner companies, it will appear in this section, and it will be published as a new version of this page rather than an edit — so the disclosure you agreed to stays readable afterward.
What may be shared, and when
Nothing leaves us while you are answering questions. The project details you enter — your location, the scope, materials and timeline — may be shared with the companies named on the consent screen, together with the contact details you give there, once you submit.
We do not sell your contact information to unrelated lead buyers, and we do not share it with a company that was not named on the screen where you gave consent.
How to opt out
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected], or tell any caller directly, and we will stop contacting you.
A withdrawal is recorded against your contact details with the date it was made, and it covers all contact — not only the request you had in mind. The wording you originally agreed to is kept alongside it, and you can ask us for a copy of both. We cannot undo contact that has already happened.
Each company you were matched with is an independent business keeping its own records, so you can also ask that company directly to stop contacting you.
